NFL Draft Sleeper Named Target for Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens could address their pass rush at some point in the NFL Draft.

The Baltimore Ravens are getting ready to add to their roster in next week's NFL Draft, and history suggests that the team will look to add a pass rusher of some sort.

Since 2019, the year Eric DeCosta was promoted to become the general manager, the team has taken someone on the front seven in every year.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler believes the player that the team could look to fill that gap this year is Colorado State's Mohamed Kamara.

"The Ravens have high hopes for previous early-round picks Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo, but they will likely draft more pass-rush help at some point in the first four rounds. Although undersized, Kamara is relentless and has disruptive potential as a subpackage rusher," Brugler writes.

Kamara played five seasons at Colorado State, but really made a name for himself in the last two years, recording 33 tackles for loss and 21.5 sacks. Adding him to the rotation with Oweh and Ojabo could make the pass rush that much more dangerous. And with Justin Madubuike manning the middle with his 13 sacks and shiny new $98 million contract, the Ravens could have one of the more disruptive front sevens in the NFL.

The NFL Draft is set for April 25-27 from Ford Field in Detroit.
