NFL Mock Draft: Baltimore Ravens Add Top WR Again?

The Baltimore Ravens could look to get Lamar Jackson another receiver to throw to early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Baltimore Ravens are benefitting from taking a receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft this past year.

Zay Flowers has emerged as one of the top targets for Lamar Jackson in the Ravens offense, but you can never have too many weapons in the NFL.

That's why Pro Football Network has the Ravens targeting a receiver once again in the NFL Draft in 2024. PFN's mock draft has the Ravens taking LSU receiver Brian Thomas Jr. with the No. 29 overall selection.

"It always feels a tad lazy to keep mocking wide receivers to the Baltimore Ravens. But Odell Beckham Jr. is slated to be a free agent, and the team lacks a reliable producer on the outside," Pro Football Network writes.

"At 6’4″, 205 pounds with explosive speed, Brian Thomas Jr. has been a fast riser up draft boards in LSU’s offense and rarely drops the football. Adding him to the Ravens would be fun for Lamar Jackson and open up coverage for Zay Flowers."

Thomas, 21, is enjoying a breakout year for the Tigers, recording 51 catches for 918 yards and 13 touchdowns through 10 games. He's become one of college football's top receivers.

Adding speed and youth to the receiving corps could be what pushes the Ravens over the top. Even with adding Flowers, you can see that there's another dimension with what Baltimore cooks up on offense. Adding another first-round receiver talent in Thomas could be what pushes the Ravens over the top.
