Odell Beckham Jr. 'Animosity' in Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Reunion?

The Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns will do battle for the second time this season in NFL Week 10 on Sunday, but this time, there will be extra spice this time around. Why? Odell Beckham Jr. will be facing his former team in what will no doubt be an emotional game for the receiver.

After his time in Cleveland ended, Beckham Jr. then made his way to the Los Angeles Rams and was part of their Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals before his ACL injury, and then he made his way to Baltimore.

So there is a fair bit of water under the bridge for Odell, and on Sunday, there will be no animosity towards his former employers...from his end, at least.

"Nah. ... I made great bonds and memories with those guys over there," Beckham said via the team's official website. "Once you're on a team, you build a brotherhood that lasts way longer than anything else.

"Not to be like, 'Oh, it's another game to me,' but it will be fun to go against these guys who are friends and brothers of mine. But definitely no animosity on my end for sure. A lot of love and respect."

Beckham Jr. comes into the Browns game, coming off grabbing his first Ravens touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks last week.

After being so close several times in the win over the Arizona Cardinals as he drew multiple defensive pass interference calls on potential touchdown catches, Odell finally got his reward as he hauled in a Tyler Huntley pass vs. the Seahawks.

"It does feel good," Beckham Jr. said. "I worked very hard just to be able to get back on the field just to make a catch. The goal was always to be able to score touchdowns, but at the same time keeping the mindset that it's one week and finding ways to get better."

With Odell now being able to get that touchdown grab out of the way and his former team up next at M&T Bank Stadium, everything feels like it is pointing in a positive direction.

Beckham Jr. is coming off his best game as a Raven last week (5 receptions, 56 yards, one TD), and no doubt he will want to make an impact against the Browns.

Expect Lamar Jackson to look Odell's way often on Sunday, as while scoring a touchdown against the Seahawks was good, getting one against the team that released him (forced as it was by OBJ) mid-season in 2021 will be far sweeter.
