Ravens BREAKING: Odell Beckham Jr. Given 'Noteworthy' Contract Offer; Lamar Jackson Signing Lure?

The Ravens met with OBJ at the NFL annual gathering here at the Biltmore hotel on Tuesday and have now reportedly made him a contract offer. Is Lamar Jackson watching?
In this story:

PHOENIX - The Baltimore Ravens took a break here in Phoenix from the NFL owners meetings to conduct a Tuesday business session with Odell Beckham Jr.

And maybe, for both parties, business was good.

Baltimore is putting in a “noteworthy and competitive'' offer for Beckham, reports CBS Sports' Josina Anderson, who has been particularly plugged in to the OBJ saga.

The Ravens met with OBJ at the NFL annual gathering here at the Biltmore hotel on Tuesday;maybe worth noting is that while Beckham has a home here, as of Wednesday midday, while the league meetings ended, Baltimore coach John Harbaugh remained entrenched at the resort.

In a best-case scenario, in-limbo QB Lamar Jackson, who has not always been blessed with top-notch talent at the receiver position, might be lured into deeper contract discussions with the club due to the hoped-for presence of Beckham in Baltimore.

OBJ was rumored to be seeking $20 million APY, a report that he has debunked while complaining that one of the bidding teams only offered him $4 million APY. But at whatever price, the Ravens could use help at wide receiver.

Standout tight end Mark Andrews was Baltimore’s leading pass-catcher last season with 847. OBJ hasn't has a fully healthy and star-level season since 2019. But if Beckham (who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2021) is truly recovered from a torn ACL, he could make a return to stardom.

And maybe it all can help Lamar Jackson to make a return ... period.
