Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill Injured vs. Baltimore Ravens in London
The Tennessee Titans are playing from behind in London against the Baltimore Ravens, and things might've just gotten more difficult for the offense.
Titans' 12-year veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill has exited the game and is awaiting x-rays on his ankle. He was injured during a sack late in the third quarter and got up noticeably limping. He continued for a couple of plays but then found his way to the sideline after the drive stalled.
Tannehill was seen standing on one end of the field near a tunnel with a trainer, apparently waiting for a cart to take him to the x-ray room, which is located at the other end of the field.
Tannehill was 8-of-16 for 76 yards with one interception before exiting the game. Second-year player Malik Willis came on to replace Tannehill in the fourth quarter. Willis has only appeared in one game for the Titans this season, against Cleveland in September, and has not registered a pass attempt until today.
The Titans trail the Ravens 20-13 after the Ravens dominated the first half, leading 18-3 at the break. But the third quarter flipped the script and was all Titans, including a 64-yard run by running back Derrick Henry out of the wildcat formation that set up a field goal early.
Henry added a 10-yard touchdown run to get the Titans to within one score before the Ravens added another field goal.
Willis played his collegiate ball at Auburn and Liberty and threw for 5,186 yards on 388-of-618 passing, with 48 touchdowns and 18 interceptions from 2017-2021.
