WATCH: Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Wants Position Change?!

The Baltimore Ravens' latest statement victory gave Lamar Jackson an opportunity to humorously daydream about a position change.

Suggs, Boulware, McCrary, Lewis ... Jackson?

Lamar Jackson may one day be immortalized among the legends of Baltimore Ravens past, perhaps a mere Vince Lombardi Trophy hoist away from becoming the greatest quarterback in franchise history. But the team's latest victory gave Jackson a chance to daydream.

Jackson and the Ravens (7-2) pummeled the Seattle Seahawks, former leaders of the NFC West, on Sunday to the tune of a 37-3 shellacking. Adding to his potential MVP case, Jackson put up 247 yards of offense in the win and found eight different receivers for at least one reception.

But even Jackson was taken in by the Ravens' defense, namely by a pass rush that sacked opposing quarterback Geno Smith on four occasions. Kyle Van Noy got to him twice while Justin Madubuike and Odafe Oweh had one takedown each.

With Jackson wearing a microphone for Sunday's game, the relentless attack was enough to make him publicly call for a position change.

"I want to play defense one game!" Jackson declares. "Send me on the blitz!"

Jackson made his desires quite clear: he's been sacked enough in his career and, if he were to ever engage in a drastically unlikely switch, he'd only want to go after his fellow passers.

"I want to get in just to blitz, though!" Jackson tells backup quarterback and another sack victim, Josh Johnson.

If there was ever an afternoon to put Jackson in a few downs on defense, it was likely Sunday's one-sided affairs against Seattle: the defense allowed only 151 yards and six first downs in Sunday's win, Baltimore's fourth in a row. But the team has had enough problems keeping Jackson healthy, so the last thing they'd need is Jackson getting maimed in pursuit of, say, Patrick Mahomes.

In any case, Jackson is set to be situated under Baltimore center as they seek further distance in the chase for the AFC North. That pursuit continues when they host the Cleveland Browns next Sunday afternoon.
