Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. Injured vs. Cardinals, Returns To Finish Game
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went down after taking a big hit in the third quarter against the Arizona Cardinals.
On 3rd and 8 halfway through the third quarter, quarterback Lamar Jackson targeted Beckham Jr. on a hole shot down the right sideline. The ball was uncatchable, but that didn't prevent a nasty collision between Beckham Jr. and Cardinals safety Budda Baker.
After the play, Beckham Jr. remained on the ground as the medical staff attended to him. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but immediately left the field and headed into the locker room. Up until that point, he had recorded zero receptions on four targets.
He would return to the game in the fourth quarter after spending some time in the locker room. Baltimore had announced that the injury he suffered was a stomach contusion and he was listed as questionable before making his return to finish the game.
At the time of his injury, the Ravens led the game 14-7 and were looking to pull further ahead to secure a third-straight win and move to 6-2 on the season.
The 30-year-old wide receiver has played in six of the Ravens' eight games this season, missing back-to-back games against the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns due to an ankle injury.
He signed a one-year, $15 million contract with Baltimore this offseason after missing all of the 2022 season due to a torn ACL that he suffered in Super Bowl LVI.
In his six games played for the Ravens this year, he has caught 14 passes on 26 targets for 162 yards and no touchdowns.
