New Orleans Saints RBs Ratings on Madden 21
As the 2020 NFL season approaches, so does the release date of NFL fans' most anticipated video game year in and year out.
EA Sports' Madden 21 releases August 25th with BETA exclusively available now. In anticipation of the game, EA Sports is releasing some of the top player and rookie ratings by position throughout the remainder of July. The Saints News Network gives a breakdown of the New Orleans Saints RBs Madden 21 rankings.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara in EA Sports' Madden 19.
Alvin Kamara: 88 Overall (T-9th Highest Rated RB)

Analysis: Kamara did not seem too happy when his rating was released tweeting, "lol y’all hit me wit the injury rating.. i like it doe". Over the past three years, Kamara has been an excellent option in Madden to build your team around in Franchise Mode or to give your friends headaches in Play Now. As quick and shifty in the game as he is on the field, Kamara provides one of the best pass catching options out of the backfield and dangerous speed to break off runs in between the tackles. Beware however, if he is your Franchise Mode RB be ready to back up the Brinks truck... AK is going to get paid.
New Orleans Saints RB Latavius Murray in EA Sports' Madden 20.

Analysis: Murray is a very serviceable back in Madden but if you're playing as the Saints it is hard to take Kamara off the field. However, within the Saints playbook, there are a few shotgun formations that have Kamara split out as a WR and Murray in the backfield. In formations such as that you get a playmaker into open space and insert a better pass blocking option in the backfield. Murray is also a great change of pace back and runs well between the tackles. No. 28 would make a great candidate for a true split backfield or a bridge running back in Franchise Mode.

Analysis: Montgomery provides a unique versatility in Madden 21. The former Stanford WR excels as a pass catching back making him a threat on third downs. However, Montgomery could be played at his college position. The Saints are without a proven #3 WR, Montgomery could fill the role in the slot well if players choose that route. At only 27 years old he should also be a priority in Franchise Mode to extend on a "bang for your buck" deal.
