Saints - Giants Predictions | Week 15
Two teams fighting through similar situations in terms of keeping their postseason dreams alive, the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants square off in the Superdome on Sunday. Always an action-packed matchup no matter well or poorly the teams are fairing, this Week 15 tilt is sure to entertain. While Saints quarterback Derek Carr is looking to earn back the grace of the fanbase, Giants passer Tommy DeVito is trying to prove the love he has received from Big Blue fans is warranted.
Both teams have a lot riding on this week's matchup, but only one can come out on top. Except for a tie, of course but we do not need to put that kind of energy out there. Here is how the Saints News Network team sees this week's game shaping out.

The Giants' DeVito is not Danny DeVito, but the Saints defense hopes he will be on Sunday right now. The young quarterback has shocked the NFL with his play. We probably will not see the legendary Drew Brees- Eli Manning shootout at Caesars Superdome, but we will see some fireworks from Carr-DeVito.
Prediction: Saints 41, Giants 30

The abysmal performance that the Saints have had against the run the last eight weeks is a huge concern. New York's offense revolves around running back Saquon Barkley and he has the game-breaking skills to make this a long day. New Orleans must also keep DeVito from getting into any kind of a rhythm with his arm or his legs.
The fact is that I think the Saints contain Barkley just enough with aggressive blitzes that also pressure DeVito into mistakes. I also believe that New Orleans will be able to control the ball offensively with star back Alvin Kamara and their tight ends (imagine that!) in an efficient, if unspectacular, performance.
Prediction: Saints 28 Giants 16
John Hendrix
This game took on a new meaning with the Giants winning three straight game. New Orleans is facing that "prove last week was not a fluke" game. We will know quickly if the defense is able to do what is necessary to make DeVito sleep with the fishes. The focal point here is whether or not the Saints offense can be better than last week. I am a little leery, but this has to be a win for the Saints. It will not be easy. It never is.
Prediction: Saints 27, Giants 21
Ross Jackson
This one is simple, the Saints' playoff chances (32%) are much more realistic than the Giants' (2%). New Orleans needs this one like Ricky needed to stay with Tre. It feels like life or death for the Saints' postseason aspirations even though one loss to the Giants or Los Angeles Rams could still be survivable. Carr and the Saints need to give the fans something to cheer about. They limped their way to a victory last weekend, this weekend they will need to sprint.
Prediction: Saints 31, Giants 27
