The Saints have had a busy Friday in addition to their Top-30 visits that are going on at the facility. After signing Kellen Mond, the team announced that they've also added wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown to the roster. It's a one-year deal.

Equanimeous is the older brother of Amon-Ra, who plays for the Lions. He's spent the past two seasons in Chicago and was originally drafted by the Packers as a sixth-round (207th overall) pick in the 2018 draft. He told us on his welcome interview that it was new quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko that actually reached out to his agent and told him that he'd be a good fit. He was the Bears quarterback coach for the past two seasons while St. Brown was there.

St. Brown said that he'll get a fair shot at competing for a roster spot, and that the hamstring is all good after dealing with it last season. He appeared in just seven games for the Bears in 2023, but played and started in 16 games prior to that. He could pen in as a possession receiver, but also has strong abilities as a blocker.
