On Monday, New Orleans star running back Alvin Kamara returned from the NFL's three-game suspension. He posted a humorous reminder on his social media accounts for fans.

The NFL suspended Kamara for the first three games of the season following pleading "no contest' to a breach of peace charge in Las Vegas. The incident took place during the 2022 Pro Bowl weekend. Allegedly, Kamara had an altercation with Darnell Greene Jr., which caused Greene to be hospitalized with injuries. Kamara has reportedly publicly apologized and will settle a civil suit with Greene through attorney Tony Buzbee.

In July, Kamara met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about his participation in the incident and admitted that he was at fault. He returns to the Saints with his backfield teammate Jamaal Williams listed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. Also, starting quarterback Derek Carr went down in the Green Bay loss with an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder.

The Saints will need Kamara's impact in the running and passing game to help give the team's offense a boost. He excels in third-down production. Currently, New Orleans is converting 39.3 % on third downs for the season, ranking at No. 16 in the NFL.
