Gunfire Spoils Cam Jordan's Charity Event

Cam Jordan's charity event was marred by gunshots from an argument outside of the venue.

Cam Jordan, the all-time sacks leader for the Saints, was in the New Orleans area giving away sneakers to more than 30 young children. Unfortunately, this happy event became a sad reminder of the importance of gun safety around kids, as gunshots were fired during an argument outside the location.

Jordan posted via social media: "Didn know how to feel about it… greeeat event Las night,30 + kids at my event last night gifting them sneakers… reinforcing positivity and having a great time… ignorance and stupidity struck when some argument outside of Politics elevated to extremes and gunshots went off."

The NFL player verified that no one associated with the event were injured.  "No kids or staff or anybody in politics were injured. I don’t think any of the bullets struck any person next door . Thankful none of my ppl were affected.But rattled for sure still sad these kids were in this situation. God bless take care ya ppl."
