Detroit hired Campbell as the Lions head coach on Jan. 20, 2021, with the goal of taking the storied football franchise to the Super Bowl.

Well, New Orleans' ex-assistant head coach is a one win away from accomplishing the feat. His comrade-in-arms from the Saints staff is defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, who has transformed the team's defense.

Glenn's success with Detroit has caught the eye of the Atlanta Falcons, who conducted a virtual interview with him on Friday for its head coach vacancy.

The Saints allowed linebacker Alex Anzalone to leave in free agency and traded former draft pick C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Eagles in August of 2022.

Former Saints starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is retiring at the end of the season, will have an opportunity to get closer to a Super Bowl.

The San Francisco 49ers will host and battle the Detroit Lions for the rights to hoist the 2024 NFC Championship Trophy at 3 PM ET on Sunday, Jan. 28.
