The Saints are bringing in Raiders quarterback Derek Carr for a visit, according to Tuesday evening reports by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill. Saints News Network confirmed the news, as the visit will take place at the team's facility on Wednesday, and is simply exploratory.

Rapoport said, "The Saints invited QB Derek Carr for a visit and the Raiders have granted permission for that to happen. The plan is for a visit tomorrow. Carr, who has a no-trade clause, is doing due diligence and no trade is imminent."

With Carr's no-trade clause right now, he would have the say on where he goes. Bob Rose looked at the potential addition recently and broke down what you need to know about the nearly 32-year-old quarterback. Now, what makes things interesting is that if he stays on the Las Vegas roster three days after the Super Bowl, Carr will be in for $40.4 million in guarantees over the next two years if he doesn't get traded or released by Feb. 15.

The ties and familiarity are there for Dennis Allen. New Orleans desperately needs to find their answer at quarterback. Their aggressive approach last year did not land Deshaun Watson, but it feels like they're at it again this offseason to solve for their most important position.
