Derek Carr Leaves Game Against Vikings

The Saints lost their starting quarterback after a big hit in the third quarter.
In this story:

Derek Carr exited the game on Sunday against the Vikings after taking a big hit. The Saints quarterback took a vicious hit that did not draw a penalty despite what appeared to be a high-low hit. He's been officially ruled out with a right shoulder injury and concussion.

Some Saints players immediately called for and motioned for a trainer to come in following the play and Carr was down for a short bit. He was able to get to his feet and go to the blue medical tent under his own power, but was later carted to the locker room.

Jameis Winston came in for Carr and was able to lead a touchdown drive to cut the deficit to 27-11. New Orleans is fortunately on their bye week after this game, one in which the injuries are starting to pile up and the Saints have not looked particularly good on either side of the ball.
