Report: Jimmy Graham Arrested
The New Orleans Saints organization released a response to the arrest of Jimmy Graham.
Jimmy Graham, the New Orleans Saints tight end, was arrested on Friday night for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, according to TMZ. Graham, 36, has since been released from custody. No further information is currently available.
Police were called in response to a person wandering erratically in traffic. "At the scene, cops claim they witnessed Graham walking in the streets ... and they attempted to arrest him, but he resisted," per TMZ.
New Orleans has been preparing for their preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Aug. 20 by practicing in southern California. They participated in joint scrimmages with the Chargers on Thursday and Friday.

Graham spent his first five years with the Saints, totaling 386 receptions for 4,752 yards and 51 touchdowns. He is second in franchise history in touchdown receptions and sixth in both catches and receiving yards.
New Orleans traded Graham to the Seattle Seahawks during the 2015 offseason. He played three seasons for Seattle, two for Green Bay, and two with Chicago before sitting out the 2022 campaign. New Orleans re-signed Graham at the start of this year's training camp.
