Conflicting reports surround the misdemeanor criminal charges against Michael Thomas.

The Kenner Police Department refuted the early claim from Michael Thomas' attorney regarding the department dismissing a misdemeanor criminal charge. WGNO reports, "Kenner Police Department said his charges remain open on Wednesday, March 20."

Attorney Daniel "Becket" Becnel represents former New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas in the case. He mentioned the Kenner City Attorney's Office dropped Thomas' misdemeanor criminal charges.

The All-Pro wideout was charged following an alleged battery incident outside of his home on Friday, Nov. 10.
