Following Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the New Orleans Saints (7-8) sit a half-game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7–7) for the battle of the NFC South. Unfortunately, the Buccaneers hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over New Orleans. The two teams will meet again in Week 17 on New Year's Eve in Tampa Bay.

New Orleans has a 22% chance to make the playoffs after losing to the Rams, per NFL.com.
