According to ESPN reporter Field Yates, the New Orleans Saints have signed CB Isaac Yiadom to their practice squad and released LB Kenny Young from the practice squad on Thursday.

Young was just added to the practice squad last week prior to the team’s game at Pittsburgh. He was not activated for the game.

Yiadom, 26, was originally a third-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Boston College by the Denver Broncos. He appeared in 29 games for the Broncos over his first two years, intercepting one pass, breaking up seven others, and recording 63 tackles.

Traded to the Giants in 2020, Yiadom started a career-high 10 contests for New York. He had a half sack and had career bests in tackles (46) and passes broken up (5) while allowing less than 62% completion percentage.

Yiadom was traded again in 2021, this time to the Green Bay Packers, where he was relegated to mostly special teams. The Packers released him after the year. He'd sign with the Houston Texans and appeared in three games this season, almost exclusively on special teams.

New Orleans also added RB David Johnson, DE Niko Lalos, and DT Prince Emili to their practice squad on Wednesday. The 3-7 Saints host the 3-6 Los Angeles Rams this Sunday.
