New Saints Offensive Coaching Additions for 2024
- Offensive Coordinator - Klint Kubiak
- Quarterbacks Coach - Andrew Janocko
- Running Backs Coach - Derrick Foster
- Wide Receivers Coach - Keith Williams
- Assistant Wide Receivers Coach - DeNarius McGhee
- Senior Offensive Assistant - Rick Dennison
- Offensive Line Coach - John Benton
The Skinny On New Saints Coaches
Joining Kubiak will be Andrew Janocko, formerly of the Bears. His name emerged a week after Kubiak was linked to the Saints, and he'll be the new quarterbacks coach to replace Ronald Curry. Janocko has worked with Justin Fields and Kirk Cousins in the past and has ties to both Klint Kubiak from their time in Minnesota.
John Benton, an extremely tenured football coach, joins the team as the new offensive line coach. Benton was most recently with the Jets (2021-2022) as the team's offensive line coach and run game coordinator and spent time in San Francisco (2017-2020) prior to that. So, he has experience in a Kyle Shanahan system.
Dennis Allen Discusses Why Klint Kubiak Was The Saints Choice For Offensive Coordinator
Keith Williams enters the mix from the Baltimore Ravens, where he was an assistant wide receivers coach. 'Coach Dubb' has worked with Derek Carr in the past during their time at Fresno State, and Williams has also worked personally with receivers like Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams.
Derrick Foster has been with the Chargers since 2021 and worked with the Iowa Hawkeyes before that (2018-2020), while Rick Dennison has a lot of tenure and has long ties with the Kubiak family. He was most recently a Senior offensive advisor with the Vikings in 2021.
