New Orleans starting quarterback Derek Carr was sacked and injured his AC joint in his throwing should during the 18-17 loss to Green Bay in Sunday's game. Backup quarterback Jameis Winston came off the bench in relief to Carr and is expected to start in case Carr cannot play at home versus Tampa Bay in Week 4.

Taysom Hill could serve as Winston's backup. On September 6, the NFL suspended Jake Haener for six games due to a failed drug test.
