Saints Film Study Notes vs. Texans
- The Saints offense was able to move the ball pretty well at times, but inconsistency and penalties still show up in a big way.
- Chris Olave had a really nice rebound game, and some of the miscues can't really be on him.
- Red zone struggles are maddening, and some of the decisions and play calls are what is in question.
- It was truly a tale of two halves for the Saints defense. They did a nice job to start the game, but then C.J. Stroud found success and the running game gashed them. In the second half, they gave up only one big play.
- This might have been the toughest game with miscommunication I can remember in quite some time.
- Carl Granderson continues to flash. Looking at some of his impact, as well as he and Demario Davis' big sack.
- The final four plays of the game for the offense still make you scratch your head.
- Trevor Penning's struggles are pretty evident and look rough, but hopefully he can change that with good coaching.
- Tons more from this game, including some of the many good things and bad things that came from the rewatch.
