Michael Thomas Ruled Out for Rest of Vikings Game

The Saints lost Michael Thomas early due to a knee injury and he will not return.
In this story:

Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas has been ruled out for the rest of the game against the Vikings due to a knee injury he suffered in the first quarter. The official announcement came early in the third quarter.

Thomas took a big shot to his back on a pass play early and was able to stay in through the first drive. However, Thomas went into the blue medical tent and stayed in there for several minutes before exiting it with a ball cap and rejoining the Saints sideline.

We did not originally spot Thomas coming out of halftime, but he was spotted later. New Orleans enters a bye week following this game, with their next game being against Atlanta on the road for Week 12.

The Saints trail the Vikings big in Minneapolis and have another injury to worry about with Derek Carr, who took a big shot and eventually took a cart ride to the locker room.
