Saints Monday Injury Report | Week 7

The Saints have 14 players listed on their first injury report ahead of Thursday Night Football's matchup against the Jaguars.
In this story:

Facing a short week and quick turnaround, the Saints and Jaguars put out estimated injury reports to for Thursday Night Football. New Orleans has 14 players listed on there, which is obviously very concerning. Some of these will fall off on Tuesday and we'll monitor these over the next two days of practice, but here's how the first report looks.

Week 7 - Saints Monday Injury Report (Estimated)

  • DID NOT PRACTICE: Juwan Johnson (calf), J.T. Gray (hamstring), Landon Young (hip), James Hurst (ankle), Ryan Ramczyk (concussion), Demario Davis (knee)
  • LIMITED: Lonnie Johnson Jr. (hamstring), Cam Jordan (back), Tyrann Mathieu (foot), Chris Olave (toe), Andrus Peat (groin), Jamaal Williams (hamstring), Derek Carr (right shoulder/chest)
  • FULL: Jake Haener (return from suspension)

It's an encouraging step in the right direction for Jamaal Williams, and he could provide a good boost for the team by getting in the lineup with Alvin Kamara. We're not anticipating Hurst or Ramczyk this week, so we'll be paying very close attention to that, as well as Davis and Mathieu. One other observation from the report is Derek Carr being listed with an additional injury (chest).

Jaguars Monday Injury Report (Estimated)

  • DID NOT PRACTICE: Tyson Campbell (hamstring), Zay Jones (knee), Trevor Lawrence (knee), Walker Little (knee), Brandon Scherff (ankle)
  • FULL: Davon Hamilton (back)
