The NFL's schedule release will always be something that keeps drawing more eyes on it, and the league is essentially making things a two-day event this year with select games being announced on Wednesday. We're particularly interested to see if the Saints will be in Germany to take on the Patriots as previously reported. As for New Orleans, they have the second easiest strength of schedule going into 2023.

HOW MANY PRIMETIME GAMES WILL THE SAINTS GET IN 2023?

Opponents the Saints face were 122-164-3 last season, which gave them a .427 winning percentage. The Falcons have the easiest strength of schedule at .417 (119-167-3). Meanwhile, the Eagles have the toughest strength of schedule at .566 (161-123-4).

ROAD OPPONENTS: Falcons, Panthers, Bucs, Packers, Texans, Colts, Rams, Vikings, Patriots

HOME OPPONENTS: Falcons, Panthers, Bucs, Bears, Lions, Jaguars, Giants, Titans

Naturally, a strength of schedule doesn't mean a team will run the table and produce wins during the season, but it does end up being a little bit more favorable. In 2014, New Orleans had one of the easier schedules in the league, and they could only muster a 7-9 record. Of course, there was a lot more going on with that team. The NFC South was pretty bad last year, as well as the AFC South. That's one big reason why this strength of schedule is low.

The NFL will officially release the schedule on Thursday night, so be sure to keep things tuned to Saints News Network for more.
