Saints, Texans to Hold Joint Practices

The Saints are reportedly hosting the Texans for joint practices ahead of the home preseason finale in Week 3.

According to a report from FOX26 Sports Director Mark Berman out of Houston, the Texans are going to be in New Orleans for joint practices with the Saints ahead of their Week 3 preseason finale. Saints News Network was told that these practices are likely, but details are still being worked on.

This is pretty interesting, to say the least, as both teams will essentially be flip-flopping from the previous week of training camp action. The Texans will be coming off of hosting the Dolphins for joint practices, while the Saints will be coming home after joint practices with the Chargers out in Costa Mesa.

We haven't received the official word of when joint practices with the Chargers will be, but the belief is it will be that Thursday and Friday ahead of the Sunday preseason game. The preseason finale will be nationally televised on FOX with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.
