The Saints have announced their training camp schedule for 2023, which sees several opportunities for fans to see practices.

The Saints have released their training camp schedule, which sees seven practices open to fans. Rookies report starting on July 18, while veterans report on July 25. The first practice, which will not be padded, is on July 26. Here's how things look for New Orleans up until the start of the regular season.

Saints Training Camp Practices Open to the Public

  • Friday, July 28 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Saturday, July 29 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Monday, July 31 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Friday, Aug. 4 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Saturday, Aug. 5 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Sunday, Aug. 6 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Thursday, Aug. 10 (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)

Information to Know

JOINT PRACTICES: Joint practices with the Chargers are on Thursday, Aug. 17 and Friday, Aug. 18 (9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.), while joint practices with the Texans are on Thursday, Aug. 24 and Friday, Aug. 25 (time TBD). The sessions with the Texans will not be open to the public, while the Chargers announced that their sessions are exclusive to their season ticket holders.

TICKETING: As always, attending practice in Metairie is free. However, remember that you must reserve the tickets on the team's website. Season ticket holders can start registering for tickets on Monday, July 17, while waiting list members can register on Tuesday, July 18. The general public will be able to secure theirs on Wednesday, July 19. They'll be available on a limited basis starting at 10:00 a.m..

SAINTS PRESEASON SCHEDULE: New Orleans will have all of their preseason games on Sunday. The opener will be a part of NFL Network's broadcast, while the finale will be nationally televised on FOX. Here's how the schedule looks.

  • Week 1 (Aug. 13): vs. Chiefs, 12 p.m CT 
  • Week 2 (Aug. 20): at Chargers, 6:05 p.m. CT 
  • Week 3 (Aug. 27): vs. Texans, 7 p.m. CT

ROSTER CUTDOWNS: This year will see every team have to go from 90 to 53 players by the deadline on Tuesday, Aug. 29. Some 1,184 players will hope to find new homes via other situations or practice squads.
