The (10-1) New Orleans Saints are currently the NFL's best team; with a 10-game winning streak and a roster that's filled with young talent built around a future Hall of Fame QB who leads the race for League MVP. Meanwhile, the (6-5) Dallas Cowboys are trying to get to that point someday, but for now will have to settle for being the best team in the NFL's worst division.

However, both of the two teams' fan-bases are considered to be among the passionate in the entire NFL and with next Thursday's game now some 5 days away, the amount of trash-talking between them is already reaching peak intensity; in what promises to be an epic "war of words" over the course of the next week or so.

Many Saints fans have a major "chip on their shoulder" when it comes to their team this season; since they feel that the organization is being constantly overlooked and perhaps has even been disrespected in spite of their very notable success recently, by a handful of prominent figures within the National Sports Media that cover the NFL.

Whether or not New Orleans is or isn't actually being overlooked or disrespected is wide-open for debate; although with the Saints on the "roll" that they're currently on, you'd have to imagine it's pretty hard to simply disregard them as anything less than a Super Bowl favorite by this point.

On the flip side of things of course, are Dallas Cowboys fans.

Cowboys fans are generally regarded as some of the more "cockier" fans League-wide, as they perpetually ask "How 'Bout Dem Cowboys?"; a phrase posed as a rhetorical question but meant between Cowboys fans as a way to openly brag about their team's accomplishments.

Which of course some folks might find to be a bit ironic — considering that Dallas hasn't been to or won any Super Bowls in the past 23 years (after playing in 8 of them and winning a total of 5 titles in their storied history prior to that).

So try to keep all of that in mind this morning, as we give you some random but yet rather "interesting" exchanges between Saints and Cowboys fans on Social Media, in advance of next week's contest at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (suburban Dallas).

And as fans from both sides engage in the "back and forth" over the course of the next few days. we'll update this article and add a few more to go with the few we've presented right below.

And we caution you: some of the language is a bit explicit, and may not be suitable for young fans or children of a certain age.
