Tyrann Mathieu Gets High Grade in EA Sports Madden Ratings
EA Sports is releasing their NFL player grades for Madden 24, to be released later this year. Not all the player grades have been made public yet, but the New Orleans Saints are already getting some love.
Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu was recognized as a top-10 safety by the iconic video game. Mathieu, 31, will kick off his second season for New Orleans with a 91 grade in Madden 24. That ties him with Atlanta Falcons S Jessie Bates for the fourth highest score at the position in the game.

Former Saints S Marcus Williams, now with the Ravens, came in at Number 11 with a grade of 88. Another former Saint, current Lions S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, rounded out the top 20 safeties with an 84 grade.
Tyrann Mathieu is heading into his 11th NFL season after five years with the Cardinals, one with the Texans, three with the Chiefs, and one with New Orleans. He struggled initially in his first season with the Saints but came on strong down the stretch.
Mathieu finished 2022 with 91 tackles, which was a career-high and second on the team. That three for loss and 64 solo stops, a team high. He also had a team-high 3 interceptions, broke up eight passes, allowed 62.7% completion percentage in coverage, recorded one sack, and recovered one fumble while forcing another.
