What the Saints Could Do on Day 3
Assuming nothing changes, the Saints will have five picks to make on the final day, which includes an early Day 3 selection at No. 115. New Orleans tried to do some trading yesterday, but it didn't work out. This could be the day to see them move up, as there's plenty of good talent to grab in the 4th and 5th Rounds today.

Among the needs for them to still address would include wide receiver and linebacker. Safety and the interior offensive line would also make a lot of sense. Saturday is where scouting will shine for teams. Smaller schools and HBCU prospects will certainly be a huge focus for today, and these types of players drafted today have plenty to prove.
New Orleans could go in a bunch of directions for the final day, but getting at least one pass catcher would be an ideal addition as well as safety help. Of course, when the draft is over with, the real work will start for the Saints as teams rush to sign undrafted rookie free agents.
