On Monday, Sean Payton reunited with another former New Orleans Saints player in Denver. The team announced that the Broncos have officially agreed to a one-year deal with unrestricted free agent guard Calvin Throckmorton.

New Orleans signed Throckmorton as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon following the 2020 NFL Draft. From 2020 to 2022, he played 20 games at guard, protecting the Saints quarterbacks and opening holes for running backs like Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram II.

Throckmorton, 6-5 and 311 pounds played with Denver's center Alex Forysth at Oregon.
