The Saints scouting department does a ton of homework and legwork year-round to get ready for the NFL Draft. For the coaches and front office, they don't start getting into their preparations until the season debriefing and evaluations are over with, which was right around the Senior Bowl week for Dennis Allen and company.

Needless to say, there's countless visits, workouts, meetings and anything else that's relevant to gaining more insight on a draft prospect to ensure the best decisions are made. The end result doesn't always translate to success, but the factfinding and discovery will help uncover what New Orleans needs to know.

Here's a look at the prospects the Saints have met with, which is not an exhaustive list, but does give you an idea of who may or may not be on the radar at the end of April. It will be updated as more information is gathered.

The Saints have until Apr. 17 to bring draft-eligible players to their facility for a physical examination.
