Closing in on kickoff in Atlanta, the Seahawks will have their entire starting offensive line intact for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Falcons.

All-Pro left tackle Duane Brown will be back in the starting lineup after missing the past two games with a bicep injury. With his return, George Fant will be able to presume his prior role as Seattle's run blocking specialist at tight end.

Across from Brown, right tackle Germain Ifedi will suit up despite tweaking his knee during a walkthrough on Wednesday. The fourth-year lineman didn't practice on Thursday and Friday, putting his status in doubt, but the injury must not have been too serious.

Right guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring) will also return, though it remains to be seen whether he or Jamarco Jones will earn the start. Coach Pete Carroll indicated on Monday that the two players would be competing throughout the practice week.

On the defensive line, Seattle will welcome back veteran edge rusher Ziggy Ansah, who missed last week's game with an ankle sprain. He'll be looking to record his second sack of the year against a maligned, injury-riddled Atlanta offensive line.

While the Seahawks should be thrilled about Brown and Ifedi being active and Ansah returning, the secondary remains thin heading into Sunday's game.

Recently-acquired safety Quandre Diggs won't make his Seattle debut just yet, as he missed practice time with a hamstring injury and still needs to learn a new defense. Cornerback Tre Flowers will also be out after being limited by a neck injury throughout the practice week, thrusting either Akeem King or Neiko Thorpe into the lineup.

After being ruled out with back spasms last weekend, starting strong safety Bradley McDougald will be active, but it remains uncertain whether or not he will start. If he's not in the lineup, Seattle will roll with Tedric Thompson and rookie Marquise Blair as the starters for a second consecutive week.

Wrapping up Seattle's inactives, defensive end Quinton Jefferson (oblique) and Lano Hill (elbow) were each ruled out on Friday. Running back C.J. Prosise, receiver Gary Jennings, and receiver John Ursua will be sidelined as healthy scratches.
