Cardinals LT D.J. Humphries to Miss Week 18 Contest vs. Seahawks
While the Seahawks playoff chances are still in question, the Cardinals sit at 4-12 and have long been eliminated.
Now, Arizona will play its season finale against Seattle without veteran left tackle D.J. Humphries. Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told reports on Wednesday that Humphries injured his knee in the Week 17 win over the Eagles and it will require surgery to repair a torn ACL.
“It’s a blow for anybody,” Gannon said, via the team’s website. “For us as a team, he’s a captain, one of our premier players, It’s a part of the sport that is really hard. You guys know how I feel about the players and what they put into this, the sacrifices they make. Him being who he is, it’s tough to swallow.”

It will be the first career game missed for Humphries. Since being selected out of Florida in the first round in the 2015 NFL Draft, Humphries has started all 99 NFL regular-season and playoff games.
