Keys to Victory For Seattle Seahawks vs. Cleveland Browns - Locked On Podcast
Although the Seattle Seahawks had a far shorter injury report on Thursday than the day prior with most of their banged up players progressing to full participants, four notable starters remained out, including receiver Tyler Lockett and linebacker Bobby Wagner, putting their respective statuses for Sunday against the Cleveland Browns in question.
Though he played in a 20-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Lockett was limited in practice last week due to his hamstring strain. As for Wagner and Ken Walker III, both players apparently tweaked their ankles during the victory and have sat out the first two practices of the week. Veteran guard Phil Haynes, who missed his second game of the season last week with a lingering calf injury, also has remained sidelined.
On a 90s-themed Blue Friday episode of Locked On Seahawks, hosts Corbin Smith and Nick Lee examine Seattle's latest injury report and discuss which players may be most at risk to not be available for a Week 8 clash at Lumen Field. The crew also discusses the expected return of DK Metcalf as well as the anticipated debut of do-it-all running back Kenny McIntosh.
Peering towards Sunday's game with major playoff implications, Smith and Lee construct a game plan for victory on offense and defense, including providing extra support to slow down superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett and putting the weight of Cleveland's offense on backup quarterback P.J. Walker's shoulders, and select their weekly Picks to Click and more in a jam-packed Blue Friday episode!
