Russell Wilson 'Train Wreck': Seahawks Ex At 'Point of No Return' with Broncos - NFL.com
The Seattle Seahawks community is (maybe) beyond the point of wishing ill on Russell Wilson.
But that doesn’t prevent more “ill” from arriving at the Denver Broncos’ doorstep in 2023.
The quarterback did great things in Seattle before forcing his 2022 trade to the Denver Broncos, where he posted career-low numbers.
So everybody moves on … except for the folks who worry that what won’t be “moving” is a Wilson-led offense?
Among the worriers ... NFL.com's Mark Sessler, who writes of “a very real possibility that Wilson has crossed "the point of no return.''
Sessler's assessment of Wilson includes phrases like “off-target lobs,'' "lack of chemistry with weapons,'' "oft-baffled demeanor, "an unpretty sight'' and a "train wreck.''
The Broncos quarterback now has a new coach in Sean Payton, who may not have loved the idea of signing on with Wilson, maybe based on some of the items NFL.com details.
Did Wilson fall off a cliff in a way that makes him beyond "fixable''? Was it a fluke? Or is the fact that to many he was the 30th-ranked quarterback in the NFL, with the arrow pointing down, the way he'll be remembered in Denver?
Which again, in fairness, is vastly different than the way Russell Wilson will likely ultimately be remembered in Seattle.
