Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner Lands on NFL Top 100 List

An eight-time Pro Bowler, six-time All-Pro and one-time Super Bowl champion, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner is still feared at age 33.
In this story:

One of the best players in Seattle Seahawks franchise history hardly seems like he'll be slowing down anytime soon. And in the eyes of Bobby Wagner's NFL peers, this sentiment continues to show itself.

As the 2023 campaign inches closer, the NFL is continuing to slowly reveal its player-voted list of the Top 100 Players for this season. Having been a staple in the league for what feels like millennia, Wagner checks in at No. 62 on the list at age 33.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and cornerback Tariq Woolen debuted on the list at No. 77 and No. 76, respectively, after breakout seasons last year. But it appears NFL players have no doubt that Wagner will continue his elite play as he enters his 12th season and 11th with Seattle.

An eight-time Pro Bowler, six-time All-Pro and one-time Super Bowl champion, Wagner returned to Seattle this offseason on a one-year, $7 million deal after he had spent last season with the then-defending champion Los Angeles Rams. He led the Rams in tackles (140), but his one-year absence from the Seahawks never felt right in the first place in the eyes of many fans. Wagner later admitted the same.

But now back where he belongs, he'll look to lead a Seahawks defense that is fixing to be vastly improved this season. Seattle is threatening as a contender in the NFC, and bringing Wagner back is a major reason why.
