Three NFC Teams Looking To Trade Up With Seattle Seahawks in Draft - Report
Picking at No. 16 overall in the NFL Draft later this month, the Seattle Seahawks have no shortage of options.
The Seahawks could use the pick to address one of their needs, but are likely too far down the board to land a truly elite prospect. Alternatively, they could trade down and accrue more draft capital, which may wind up being the more-appealing option.
If they do decide to trade down, they'll have plenty of possible trade partners. According to NFL Draft insider Chad Forbes, the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders have all inquired about trading up with the Seahawks.
Trades with Philadelphia and Green Bay would be pretty straightforward, as those teams hold the No. 23 and No. 25 picks, respectively. On the other hand, Washington is a different beast as after picking at No. 2 overall, the Commanders aren't scheduled to make another selection until No. 36 overall. On the plus side, the Seahawks could demand a greater haul from the Commanders as their next pick is much later.
The NFL Draft is scheduled to take place from April 25-27, and Seattle will surely be an interesting team to watch throughout the event.
