Seattle Seahawks Elevate Ex Dallas Cowboys CB Kelvin Joseph vs. Tennessee Titans
The Seattle Seahawks are making some roster moves for depth ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, as the team announced Saturday that they're elevating cornerback Kelvin Joseph and safety Ty Okada to the active roster in advance of Sunday's 10 a.m. PT kickoff.
"Joseph and Okada will bolster Seattle's secondary depth with safety Jamal Adams ruled out due to a knee injury, and cornerbacks Devon Witherspoon (hip) and Tre Brown (heel) listed as questionable, though Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Friday he expects Brown should be OK for Sunday's game," the Seahawks official team site wrote.
Joseph, a second-round pick by Dallas Cowboys in 2021 out of Kentucky, was signed to Seattle's practice squad last month after being cut by the Miami Dolphins, who traded for him from Dallas.

In 30 career games, Joseph has posted 38 total tackles, one forced fumble and four passes defended. Primarily a special teams contributor behind starters Trevon Diggs, Anthony Brown, and Daron Bland, he still saw 330 defensive snaps.
With all the injuries in the secondary, Joseph could provide some depth while also getting in on special teams.
As for Okada, this is his third elevation of the season. He played in Monday night's thrilling 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The undrafted rookie out of Montana State will primarily be contributing on special teams.
