Seahawks WR Jake Bobo Makes 53-Man Roster

Seattle Seahawks undrafted rookie recevier Jake Bobo has made the 53-man roster after an impressive preseason.

Seattle Seahawks fans have gotten their wish. Per reports from The Score's Jordan Schultz, Seahawks undrafted rookie recevier and fan favorite Jake Bobo has made the 53-man roster after an impressive preseason.

Bobo posted seven catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns during the three preseason games.

“Bobo has been doing a great job," Geno Smith said prior to preseason. "Ever since minicamp and OTAs, he was a guy that was showing up on tape and making plays consistently. He’s a guy that knows his assignment and has a lot of confidence and swag. Everyone around here loves Bobo. We’re happy to see him make those plays because he can be a really good player.”

Bobo got most of his preseason work in with quarterback Drew Lock, who had tons of praise for the rookie.

"Yeah, shoot, a lot. He's been a fan favorite in the locker room, for sure," Lock said. "'More Bobo' is the thing we like to say in the locker room. Get Bobo the ball," Lock said.

Additionally, Lock lauded Bobo for the strong work ethic he has demonstrated during his brief time with the Seahawks.

"He does everything right, man," Lock said. "He works really, really hard. I know when you throw a rookie out there, you get zero MEs (mental errors) in practices. I'm not saying he's going to do zero the whole time, but he does the right thing. He's in the right spots, knows his job, his assignment. That's all you can ask for. His physical ability will take care of everything else."

The Seahawks and Bobo will now look toward Week 1's matchup with the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field.
