Which Seahawks Have Hottest Seat With Four Games Remaining? - Locked On Podcast
As a disappointing season winds down into the home stretch and the Seattle Seahawks currently sit outside of the playoff picture, jobs undoubtedly will be on the line heading into Monday's prime time battle against the Eagles and the final four games of the season.
Before the season started, coming off a surprising 9-8 campaign in 2022 that culminated in a playoff berth, the Seahawks had elevated expectations with most of their star players returning along with several key veterans and an exciting draft class joining the mix. Starting off with five wins in their first seven games, they looked to be living up to their dark horse Super Bowl contender status.
But since then, Seattle has lost five of its past six games to fall under the .500 mark, including a four-game losing streak for the first time since 2009, plummeting to the ninth seed in the NFC. If the playoffs started tomorrow, coach Pete Carroll's squad wouldn't be part of the party, which would be a major disappointment given the expectations heading into the season.
With a chance to still improve their position and get back to the postseason, which Seahawks players, coaches, and front office members may have the most on the line with four weeks left in the regular season? Hosts Corbin Smith and Nick Lee examine the Pete Carroll-approved thermometer for an impromptu December heat check for Jamal Adams, Clint Hurtt, and others.
Smith and Lee also assemble a game plan on offense and defense for Seattle to upset Philadelphia on Monday night, select their weekly Picks to Click, and dish out their game predictions in a jam-packed Blue Friday episode!
