There are a handful of questions surrounding a few injury situations for the Seattle Seahawks, but we recently learned that rookie receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be ready to go for Week 1 despite suffering a wrist injury in the preseason.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said on Friday that Smith-Njigba will not have any limitations Sunday for the Seahawks' first game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Lumen Field.

It's an impressive return, as the former Ohio State star had wrist surgery less than three weeks ago. There was much confusion as to when he would actually return, but the No. 20 overall pick is set to make his debut.

Carroll recently raved about his toughness and mentality when working through the injury.

"He hasn't said a peep about it, nothing," Carroll said. "He's fine. It's been a remarkable mentality that he's brought to it. It's better than most guys that you see. He's not hesitating to do everything throughout the game plan and the preparation and all of that."

Smith-Njigba went down in the Seahawks' Aug. 19 preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys, while being tackled after a huge 48-yard reception. He went to Philadelphia for surgery three days later, and to the surprise of just about everyone was back on the practice a week later.

Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks are viewed as five-point favorites over the Rams, and according to ESPN's Matchup Predictor have a 62.7 percent chance of starting the season off in the win column.
