Seahawks Ex Jimmy Graham Injured & Scarred in Car Accident
Former All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham, who made a name for himself in part during his successful time with the Seattle Seahawks, has a scary tale to tell … and a nasty wound to go with it.
Graham, 36, was apparently hit by a car earlier this week while biking, according to TMZ Sports.
Former Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk, who happens to be a friend of Graham’s, offered the details of the incident while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show.
"Jimmy Graham is actually training to sail around the world right now,” Hawk said. “He was riding his bike down in Miami … and got taken out by a car, but he said he did more damage to the car.
There might be something to that, given Graham’s always noticeable 6-7 frame. But Hawk added, “He has a slice on his calf that looked like he had worms growing out of it. It was so deep and all the stuff in there you could see. Now he has tons of stitches and all of that."
Graham was a five-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro. He spent five seasons with the New Orleans Saints, three with the Seattle Seahawks, two with the Chicago Bears, and two with the Green Bay Packers, during which time he likely developed his friendship with Hawk.
Seahawks fans surely unite to wish Jimmy Graham a speedy recovery.
