In a rematch between two playoff teams from a year ago heading in different directions thus far in 2023, the Seattle Seahawks will hit the road for a prime time battle against the slumping New York Giants seeking a third straight victory with key reinforcements returning to the lineup.

Facing a Giants squad currently ranked 30th in scoring defense amid a 1-2 start, the Seahawks will aim to deploy a balanced attack spearheaded by quarterback Geno Smith and running back Ken Walker III. Meanwhile, with New York also ranking near the bottom of the league in scoring offense, Seattle's emerging front line and a healthy Jamal Adams will also hope to capitalize on a banged-up opposing offensive line to harass Daniel Jones, who coach Pete Carroll praised on Thursday.

“He is a true dual-threat," Carroll said. "You look at the start of our season, we’ve seen three pocket guys. This is different. He has the dynamics to really break you, because he doesn’t just get out and make some yards, he can make big yards. He’s got really good long speed, and he can be a factor."
