Officially turning the page from one of the worst defeats of the Pete Carroll era, the Seattle Seahawks will look to get back on the winning track on their home turf as they duke it out with Sam Howell and the Washington Commanders at Lumen Field.

To this point, though Seattle still has a 5-3 record and sits in a two-way tie with San Francisco atop the NFC West, an offense loaded with talented skill players and a returning Pro Bowl quarterback in Geno Smith has yet to truly take off. Limited to only three points in Baltimore last weekend, the unit has scored 20 or fewer points in three of the previous four games, plunging to 17th in the league in points per game.

If there's an opponent where Smith and the Seahawks could potentially get on track, however, the Commanders rank 31st in the NFL in scoring defense and have allowed the third-most passing yards along with 22 passes of 25 or more yards. But they may need every point they can get with Howell leading a surprisingly high-powered passing attack on the other sideline that has scored at least 30 points three times.
