Seahawks Lead Cardinals at Halftime of Must-Win Game
The Seattle Seahawks are leading the Arizona Cardinals 13-6 at halftime on Sunday in a game that could determine the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoffs.
The Seahawks need a win and for the Chicago Bears to beat the Green Bay Packers in order to clinch a playoff spot. If the Packers win, they are in.
Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith finished the first half 8 of 17 passing for 111 yards and one touchdown. He found tight end Will Dissly for the lone first-half touchdown, who led all Seattle receivers with two catches for 40 yards.
Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III was able to get going on the ground in the first half. He headed into the locker room with 10 carries for 55 yards.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray went 9 of 14 passing for 105 yards. He had a 33-yard run but it was running back James Conner who helped pace the offense with 11 carries for 55 yards.

The Cardinals put together two long drives on their first two possessions, but only got field goals out of it despite a pair of trips to the red zone.
Seattle had its own pair of failed trips in the red zone, but it was the touchdown to Dissly that was ultimately the difference.
