Seattle Seahawks List 5 Players Questionable vs. Arizona Cardinals

Though multiple offensive linemen missed practices this week, the Seattle Seahawks may be the closest to full strength in the trenches they have been since Week 1 with guard Damien Lewis expected to return and Jake Curhan trending in the right direction to play against the Arizona Cardinals.

Despite several players missing practice time this week due to injuries, the Seattle Seahawks could be in decent shape along the offensive line against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Lumen Field after all.

Just two days away from kickoff at Lumen Field, Seattle didn't designate a single player as out or doubtful to play this weekend. Five players, including starting center Evan Brown and right guard Damien Lewis, are listed as questionable.

Dealing with a hip issue, Brown did not practice at all on Wednesday or Thursday, though it remains to be seen whether or not he participated in Friday's session. The veteran center has started all five games for the Seahawks thus far, playing 98 percent of their snaps in those games, and per Pro Football Focus, he has only allowed six pressures and no sacks in pass protection.

As for Haynes, the fifth-year guard has been battling with a troublesome calf injury that cost him parts of two games earlier in the year. Though he started and played every snap in Cincinnati last weekend, he was limited on Wednesday before the team rested him completely on Thursday, creating some questions about his status for Sunday.

If Haynes isn't able to go, the Seahawks will turn to rookie Anthony Bradford to make his second straight start. In a positive development, left guard Damien Lewis didn't receive an injury designation after missing last week's loss to the Bengals with an ankle injury and will be back in the starting lineup to provide much-needed veteran stability in the middle of the offensive line.

Seattle Seahawks center Evan Brown (63) calls out the defense a the line of scrimmage in the third quarter of the NFL Week 6 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Seattle Seahawks at Paycor Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023.

At the tackle positions, Charles Cross didn't receive an injury listing after being limited earlier this week by a new ankle injury and will start at left tackle. Across from him, right tackle Jake Curhan, who has started the past four games in place of Abraham Lucas, has been nursing an ankle sprain suffered in last week's game and the team has listed him as questionable to suit up.

In the event Curhan doesn't play, the Seahawks have a couple of options to consider for replacing him in the lineup, including switching Stone Forsythe to the right side or elevating 41-year old veteran Jason Peters from the practice squad. Undrafted rookies Raiqwon O'Neal and McClendon Curtis also are on the roster, while Greg Eiland re-signed to the practice squad earlier this week as additional insurance.

Capping off a relatively small final injury report, running back Zach Charbonnet and receiver DK Metcalf have yet to practice this week due to hamstring and rib/hip injuries respectively. But both received questionable designations and while Charbonnet's situation is a bit murkier, Metcalf has been playing on game day the past several weeks without normal practice time and should play against the Cardinals.

Two other Seahawks veterans who were limited this week - receiver Tyler Lockett and cornerback Artie Burns - weren't listed on the final injury report with hamstring injuries and should be ready to go on Sunday.
