The Seattle Seahawks announced a massive haul of rookie signings on Friday, featuring 31 total players

With rookie minicamp beginning on Friday, the Seattle Seahawks officially announced the signing of 31 rookies, including six draft picks and 25 undrafted free agents.

The most notable of the six draft picks to sign was receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the No. 20 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Ohio State Buckeyes star is one of the earliest first-round picks to sign, and now the Seahawks' formidable receiver trio of him, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett is officially complete.

Seattle's other draft picks to sign include:

- DT Cameron Young (No. 123)

- DE Mike Morris (No. 151)

- C Olu Oluwatimi (No. 154)

- S Jerrick Reed II (No. 198)

- RB Kenny McIntosh (No. 237)

With these six deals, the Seahawks only have four draft picks left to sign. Most notable among those picks is cornerback Devon Witherspoon, the No. 5 overall pick. The other three are edge rusher Derrick Hall and running back Zach Charbonnet, both second-round picks, as well as guard Anthony Bradford, a fourth-round pick.

Featuring 25 players, Seattle's undrafted free agent class is tied for the biggest in the league with the division-rival Los Angeles Rams.

The reason why the Seahawks signed so many undrafted free agents is due to having more space on the roster. Prior to the draft, Seattle had just 52 players signed out of a possible 90. Even after making 10 draft picks and signing two more free agents, running back Bryant Koback and receiver Eason Winston Jr., the Seahawks still had plenty of room to fill. With their undrafted free agent class, they're now just one short of the 90-player limit.

These rookies will have their first chance to prove themselves at this weekend's rookie minicamp, and that process will continue throughout the offseason.
