Moving Day! Russell Wilson & Ciara Selling $25 Million Colorado Mansion

Russell Wilson's departure from the Denver Broncos seems like an inevitability at this point.

Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will almost certainly be on the move once again this offseason, which only looks more like an inevitability now.

According to BusinessDen, Wilson and his wife Ciara are quietly taking offers for their mansion in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. While the couple is keeping it low-key for now, Wilson and Ciara are hosting tours for prospective buyers.

Neither Wilson nor Ciara responded to requests for comment through their foundation.

The couple bought the mansion for $25 million in April of 2022, mere weeks after the Seahawks traded Wilson to the Denver Broncos. The purchase shattered the record for most-expensive home sale in the Denver area, with the previous high being $16 million.

Wilson's mansion spans 20,000 square feet on five acres of property and features four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The home also includes an indoor swimming pool, a basketball court and a guest apartment with its own kitchen.

Wilson was on a Hall of Fame trajectory with the Seahawks, and he could still end up in Canton when all is said and done. However, it's hard to call his tenure in Denver anything other than a disaster.

In his first season with the Broncos, the team floundered to a 5-12 finish while Wilson put up the worst numbers of his career. He bounced back somewhat this season to help the team improve to 8-9, but he frequently clashed with new coach Sean Payton. Their feud came to a head when Payton benched Wilson for the final two games of the season, all but assuring that his time with Denver is over.

Wilson signed a five-year deal worth over $240 million during the 2022 offseason, so the Broncos are going to eat a hefty amount of dead money when they inevitably cut him.

Two years later, the Wilson trade is looking more and more like a coup for Seattle.
