In this story:

We will do our best to avoid any jokes about Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson being unable to "engineer a drive'' as we report that the former Seattle Seahawks star was involved in a weird - and maybe scary - situation over the weekend while attempting to play golf in the Denver area.

Wilson, who apparently spent part of the weekend playing golf in the company of a couple of his and wife Ciara's kids, was playing at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado on Saturday when his golf cart apparently to flipped over near or into a bunker, according to a report (along with a photo) from 104.3 The Fan’s Mat Smith

Fortunately, it seems no one was injured in the odd incident.

Wilson, the nine-time Pro Bowler who accomplished outstanding Super Bowl-level things in Seattle, last offseason worked his way away from the Seahawks after a decade in a blockbuster trade that has yet to pan out for Denver.

Last year, the Broncos went 5–12 and finished last in the AFC West, with Wilson in 15 starts experiencing the poorest season of his career with 16 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions.

And all joking aside, we're happy Russ and his golf party escaped unscathed.
